‘So We Can Remember’ Album Tour Announced!

Thundamentals debut new single, announce Australian tour

Thundamentals have dropped the second single from their forthcoming album So We Can Remember.

The song, ‘Something I Said’, represents a bit of a soulful shift in direction for the hip-hop trio, in a somewhat similar vein to last year’s ‘Smiles Don’t Lie’. It was premiered on Australian radio by The Doctor this afternoon on triple j Drive.

Tom Crawford, one of our Blue Mountains friends, features on [this song],” MC Tuka told triple j. “He’s the only artist I’ve ever worked with who sculls a litre of custard when he’s singing. I think he sounds great – we do ginger and honey when we’ve got rough throats, but he was like ‘nah, can you get us some custard?’ We pretty much just collaborated with our friends on this record.

I think we’ve been kind of blessed like that,” added MC Jeswon ”It just feels like an organic kind of thing collaborating with these friends of ours. We just happen to be lucky that we’re surrounded by some really talented people. We don’t have to outsource too hard and reach out to people we don’t know.

In addition, the group will embark on a bunch of Australian tour dates around their 2014 Groovin’ The Moo tour run. They’ll hit up Melbourne, Perth, Fremantle, Brisbane and Sydney alongside their regional GTM dates.
